In response to the theme of Resilience, Stories on Foot and JIPFest invite you to read Jakarta through stories born from the city itself and the lives of those who inhabit it.

Inspired by four short stories from Cerita-Cerita Jakarta, Reading Resilience Through Stories of Jakarta takes us on foot and by public transport through different corners of the city, retracing each story in places that echo its narratives.

As we revisit these stories where fiction and the city intersect, Jakarta begins to reveal itself as more than a backdrop Iit becomes a living, shifting space, shaped by people who continually find ways to adapt, endure, and move forward.
