What time is the festival open?

All programs at Taman Ismail Marzuki are open daily during 25 June-9 July 2019 from 08:00-21:00. Varied operational hours apply for photo exhibitions outside Taman Ismail Marzuki. For more information, visit jipfest.com/visiting/festivalmap.

Can I take photos at the festival?

We are happy for our visitors to document their visit to JIPFest but kindly request that photos and/or videos taken do not get used for commercial purposes. Should you choose to post your photos on social media platforms, feel free to write down our official tag #jipfest2019. Please remember, no picture policy applies to several photo exhibition areas. Our friendly volunteers will be there to remind you.

Are the festival locations indoors?

These programs are located indoors: Workshops, Public Lectures, Panel Discussions, Artist Talks, Portfolio Review and the festival’s Opening and Closing events. Meanwhile, these programs are located outdoors: Urban Photo Tour dan Projection Nights. Some photo exhibitions and bazaar zones are located outdoor as well.

How is the weather in Jakarta during the festival?

June and July mark dry season with temperatures range between 25-32 degrees Celsius.

Do you offer a guided tour in English?

Festival tours with English-speaking guides are available from 4-7 July 2019 at the Taman Ismail Marzuki. This 60-minute tour is on offer daily, twice per day at 10:00 and 15:00, and the meeting point is the lobby of Teater Kecil. Tours to all photo exhibition locations, including those outside Taman Ismail Marzuki, are only available on request. Please contact info@jipfest.com to book.
