How to Book in Indonesia is the Indonesian edition of How to Book, a zine originally created by NYC-based publisher Small Editions. It brings together perspectives, commentaries, opinions, and stories on artistic and alternative publishing in Indonesia. As the fourth edition of the series, following How to Book in Berlin and How to Book in Japan, this edition continues the spirit of the previous publications while responding to the local publishing landscape.

For the launch and discussion, we invite two contributors to the book, Jordan Marzuki (jordan, jordan Édition) and Caron Toshiko (Gueari Galeri), to discuss photo books within the context of the Indonesian art book scene. The conversation will look at their respective practices from multiple perspectives, including creative process, production, distribution, and the financial realities of making and publishing photo books.
