
Annisa Faradila
Artist
Annisa Faradila (Palu, 2003), known as Afa, is an artist and filmmaker based in Palu, Indonesia. A graduate of Film and Television at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, she develops research-based practices through moving image and analogue media. Her work explores human relationships, identity, collective memory, and changing landscapes shaped by ecological shifts. Her practice has led her to participate in Kelas Seni Terbuka (2024), MTN LAB: Gorontalo Residency (2025), and The Shape of Forgotten Things Lab (2025).
Her works have been screened and exhibited in Indonesia and internationally, including Moving On Asia at Busan Museum of Art (2026) and Festival Film Tengah (2025), where one of her works received the Best Film award. Afa is also a founder of Re: Discovering Memories.
