Ahmed Alaqra is an artist and a curator whose practice interrogates the aesthetics of power embedded in everyday life. Working across various mediums and formats, his work attempts to disrupt dominant narratives that shape collective perception. Rooted in unmaking and unlearning, his curatorial and artistic methodologies foreground these acts as tools for reconstructing narrative.

Ahmed has participated in and curated numerous exhibitions across Europe and the Arab world. His latest exhibition, I Will Write Our Will Above the Clouds, toured multiple cities. He also co-curated Salt-Kissed at Hayy Jameel in Jeddah and served as guest curator for several exhibitions at the Palestinian Museum. His work has been exhibited at institutions and galleries including the Palestinian Museum, Al Qattan Foundation, Dar Jacir, ICD Brookfield Place in Dubai, and Spore Initiative in Berlin, among many others. He was recently nominated for the Art Here 2025 prize by Louvre Abu Dhabi and Richard Mille.

Annisa Faradila (Palu, 2003), known as Afa, is an artist and filmmaker based in Palu, Indonesia. A graduate of Film and Television at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, she develops research-based practices through moving image and analogue media. Her work explores human relationships, identity, collective memory, and changing landscapes shaped by ecological shifts. Her practice has led her to participate in Kelas Seni Terbuka (2024), MTN LAB: Gorontalo Residency (2025), and The Shape of Forgotten Things Lab (2025). 

Her works have been screened and exhibited in Indonesia and internationally, including Moving On Asia at Busan Museum of Art (2026) and Festival Film Tengah (2025), where one of her works received the Best Film award. Afa is also a founder of Re: Discovering Memories.

Artem Humilevskyi is a Ukrainian visual artist exploring conceptual photography and using his body as an artistic medium to address war, isolation, historical memory, and collective trauma.

Catherine Anabella Lie is an Indonesian interdisciplinary artist, architect, researcher, educator, and baker based in Mexico City. Her practice explores the relationship between the built environment and ecology through the notion of commoning, indigenous knowledge, and various forms of transmedia storytelling. She works with scores, videos, texts, and everyday materials to explore interdependence, intergenerational care, ecology, and cyclical time. Catherine holds a Master of Architecture from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where her thesis, sourdough architecture, received the Fialkow Fellowship in 2020. Her work has been presented at various international art and architecture spaces, including Museum MACAN and the Venice Architecture Biennale.

Chantal Pinzi is a visual activist based in Berlin, Germany, who is focused on photojournalism & documentary photography. Her work addresses issues of resilience in fractured and marginalized communities through the voices of women.

Duy-Phuong Le Nguyen, raised in a family of photographers, pursues his own path through documentary photography, directing attention to social issues within and beyond the surrounding environment.

Dyah is a ceramic artist and researcher whose practice explores material, process, and ecology through research-based approaches to making. Working with ceramics, she experiments with waste materials and develops environmentally conscious studio practices. Her works have been exhibited and featured at ARTJOG, the International Contemporary Ceramic Biennale, Biennale Jogja, and Culture by Design ABC Asia. She teaches at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta and Universitas Terbuka, and founded Baravia Pottery & Workshop as a space for learning, research, and collaboration. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at the Graduate School of the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta, focusing on ceramic practices through the perspective of non-human aesthetics.

Federico Estol is an Uruguayan visual storyteller and social artivist. He is currently developing long-term projects that explore the relationship between cultural identity, inequality, and social justice.

Gabriel Barreto Bentín is a Peruvian photographer who merges photography and cultural anthropology. His work explores identity and Indigenous cultures. He founded Encuentros Foundation and published Andinos (Rizzoli, 2022).

Gui Christ is a Brazilian lens-based artist exploring colonialism’s enduring impacts through Afro-diasporic narratives, combining photography, anthropology, and research to examine memory, inequality, and resistance.

Ilham Gusti Syahadat (b. 1997) is an artist and architect from Kediri, East Java. His artistic practice, shaped by his background in architecture, explores the relationship between architectural and artistic processes through surreal visual compositions. He began focusing on architecture in 2013 and developed his visual art practice in 2022. Ilham has participated in group exhibitions in Indonesia and Asia, as well as MTN Lab: Denpasar Residency (2025). In 2026, he was a semifinalist for the Surabaya Art Prize. Alongside his artistic practice, he currently works as an architectural designer at an architecture studio.

Jake Homovich is a documentary photographer working between China and the United States. His practice is built on long-term engagement and close collaboration about class, labor, migration, and globalization.

Juliana Tan is a Singapore-based photographer whose work examines the psychological and symbolic dimensions of memory, identity, and politics within a post-documentary framework.

Karl Mancini is an Italian documentary photographer. For more than two decades, he has worked in over 90 countries focusing on gender violence, human rights, migration, minorities, and the consequences of conflict and climate change.

Kunga Tashi Lepcha is a photographer, based in Gangtok, Sikkim. His practice revolves around documentary/experimental photography and research projects to reimagine the social, spiritual, and ecological fabric of the Himalayas.

Liss Fenwick is an Australian artist working across photography, video, sound, and material processes. Her work critically explores land, extractivism, and the legacies of colonialism in northern Australia.

Min Ma Naing is a Berlin-based Myanmar exile artist working across photography, artist books, and collaboration to explore memory, displacement, and personal and collective histories.

Muhammad Alfariz is a Yogyakarta-based artist, a member of the Sakato Art Community and the MES 56 artist collective. Alfariz completed his Bachelor of Photography degree at the Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta in 2024. In his artistic practice, he explores the medium of photography through digital montage and collage techniques with drawing elements, alongside experimenting with photosensitive materials. Alfariz works deeply explore the interaction between natural landscapes and humans, which relates to various social, political, environmental, and ecological issues. 

Through his photographic approach, he not only captures the physical reality of landscapes but also explores the subconscious and personal layers within them. Through these visual explorations, Alfariz invites audiences to re-examine the complex relationships between individuals, society, and the environment in which they live.

Natthaya Thaidecha is a Bangkok-based photographer whose work explores grief, belief, power, memory, and family through personal experience, revealing how private lives intersect with social and political structures.

Nicola Muirhead is a Bermudian documentary photographer whose research-driven, collaborative work explores how history shapes the present. Her award-winning projects center on community voices.

Nisa Ramadani (born 4 February 1995) is a Yogyakarta-born artist who uses the body as her primary language of expression. She currently focuses on performance art, having previously explored theatre and dance. Nisa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Cultural Studies at Sanata Dharma University, Yogyakarta. Nisa Rizkya R.A. (Nisa Rizkya Andika) is a visual artist, filmmaker, and photographer from Aceh, Indonesia. She holds a master’s degree in Cultural Studies from Sanata Dharma University.

Nopri Ismi is a visual storyteller and journalist from Bangka Island. His work explores culture and ecology, and has appeared in Project Multatuli, The Gecko Project, Mongabay Indonesia, and NRC.nl.

Ore Huiying is a Singaporean photographer exploring people and places shaped by development. Her documentary practice examines social and environmental change across Southeast Asia.

Rosa Panggabean is a documentary photographer based in Jakarta, Indonesia, with a background in photojournalism. Her practice is driven by an interest in human stories and the relationships between people, places, and the social contexts that shape their lives. 

She is particularly drawn to questions of identity and social change, and how they intersect with broader issues. Her work often begins with observing everyday moments, while exploring portraits, landscapes, and visual symbols as contextual ways of storytelling. Through photography, Rosa is interested in how personal experiences intersect with broader social realities, and how seemingly ordinary moments can reveal deeper stories about people and the world around them.

Ryan Andrew is a Jakarta-based visual artist and photographer exploring identity, intimacy, and gender through collaborative portraiture that amplifies underrepresented voices and lived experience.

Santiago Escobar-Jaramillo is a Colombian photographer, editor, and architect. His award-winning work spans photography, publishing, curation, and community-driven visual storytelling.

Swastik Pal is a Kolkata-based visual artist working in photography and video. His projects explore personal histories, landscapes, ecology, and climate change through long-term visual storytelling.

Tace Stevens is a Noongar and Spinifex visual storyteller from Perth. Her documentary photography centers Indigenous stories, community collaboration, and cultural sovereignty.

Vickram Sombu is a documentary photographer and filmmaker based in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara. He began his career in 2019 and is currently a member of the Kupang Film Community. In 2024, he completed the one-year Panna Future Talents photography program at PannaFoto Institute. 

In 2025, he participated in a visual storytelling workshop with AP in Oxford, England, and joined a cross-border art residency at PSBK, Yogyakarta.

Yuki Furusawa is a Japanese artist working with photography and artist books to explore family, memory, identity, and personal objects, inviting viewers to reconnect with intimate memories.
