As part of JIPFest Fringe program, National Geographic Society (NGS) will present its Storytelling Grants Program and meet storytellers who are interested in applying the grants and fostering a strong connection with NGS for future opportunities.
The Storytelling Grants Program provides seed funding and support to individuals who are working to address critical challenges, advance new solutions, and inspire positive transformation. Funded projects will incorporate science, storytelling, and/or education, and must align with one or more of the five focus areas: Ocean, Land, Wildlife, Human History & Cultures, and Human Ingenuity. The Storytelling Grants Presentation is open to the public, with online reservation.
In the Portfolio Review, selected storytellers will get an opportunity to have 1-on-1 meetings with Sana Ullah, a US-based Program Officer in Storytelling at NGS who will be flying in directly to Jakarta to conduct the meetings. Interested storytellers can apply to have the meeting on the link below.
