Portfolio Review JIPFest 2025

As part of its mission to build a marketplace for photographers, Jakarta International Photo Festival (JIPFest) is hosting a Portfolio Review on 15 September 2025 in Jakarta. This program facilitates one-on-one meetings between photographers and industry professionals, including potential clients. These sessions offer photographers the chance to receive constructive feedback, grow their professional network, and explore opportunities for future assignments. The Portfolio Review features six experts from diverse fields—ranging from publisher, curators to scholars. Announcing JIPFest 2025 Photo Exhibition Selection

Reza Saifullah & Rizka Munawarah, “Connected from Exile” The Jakarta International Photo Festival (JIPFest) 2025 curatorial team, consisting of Chelsea Chua (Singapore), Yoppy Pieter (Indonesia), and Program Director Irene Barlian (Indonesia), has selected 21 photography and multimedia projects to be presented at the festival’s Photo Exhibition, taking place from 12 to 21 September 2025. The selected projects came from an Open Call, which ran from 21 May to 21 June 2025, as well as from curators’ invitations. Open Call: Indonesia Photo Fair 2025

The sixth edition of JIPFest will be held on 12–21 September 2025 in Cikini, Central Jakarta. One of its programs, Indonesia Photo Fair, will take place at Galeri S. Sudjojono, Taman Ismail Marzuki. We invite photography practitioners to participate in two main programs: Photo Fair and Photo Market. Photo Fair will display photo prints and photo books. In this program, participants (individuals/collectives/organizations) submit works to be selected by the IPF committee. Selected works will be exhibited and marketed at the event. The cooperation scheme used in the fair is consignment, with a single cashier system managed by IPF. Photo Market

Express your Visual Voice at JIPFest!

Fringe, one of JIPFest’s signature programs, will return for the 2025 edition. This platform invites individuals, collectives, and organizations to organize their own photography events as part of the festival. Selected events (from Indonesia and overseas) will be facilitated with venue and equipment. Both JIPFest and the event organizer will co-promote the event.  In previous festival editions, Fringe participants have held photo events in the format of discussion, workshop, portfolio review, and book launch.
